The actress certainly looked relaxed on a recent trip to Paris with husband Keith Urban, 41, and five-month-old Sunday to promote her film Australia, out on Boxing Day. Explaining why she seemed so comfortable, she said: ‘Wherever your loved ones are is your home.’

The 41-year-old also revealed that becoming a mum has changed her.

‘I feel there’s something that happens with birth that’s very primal, that men are never going to understand,’ she said. ‘Something in your whole body changes and I don’t know what it is. I have no words for it other than there’s something that shifts and you’re more open and more raw.’

Asked how she feels about her Australia co-star Hugh Jackman winning a poll as sexiest man alive, she laughed: ‘He’s not. He’s the second sexiest man alive – Keith’s the sexiest.’

We should make the most of seeing Nicole while we can, though – she says she’s considering cutting down on her work to be a stay-at-home mum.

‘I’m not saying: “I’m never going to work again,”’ she said. ‘I obviously have creative blood in me, so it needs to come out in some way, but I suppose I just don’t have that burning desire to work any more.’

A report claimed that one of the first people to get in touch with Nicole Kidman after the birth of her daughter, Sunday Rose on July 7 and he sent her enough flowers to fill a room.

Despite reports, the celebrity couple sent Nicole Kidman a “room full of flowers”, it has been confirmed they actually sent a baby basket containing chenille Giraffe baby blankets, items from the Hermes baby collection and other newborn accessories.

When Katie Holmes gave birth to daughter Suri two years ago, Nicole Kidman revealed, “I hope both mother and baby are doing well.”

Announcing the birth of Sunday Rose earlier this week, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban revealed, “We feel immensely blessed and grateful to be given this beautiful baby girl. She’s an absolute delight.”

The celebrity couple has received also a hand written note from Australia’s Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd.

The source revealed, “Nicole and Keith are besotted with their baby. Nicole wants to be a very hands-on mum and has shunned all offers of help. But her sister and a nanny will help out in future if needs be.”

Nicole and Keith are planning a baptism for Sunday Rose in Australia in September, conducted by the same priest who married them in Sydney in June 2006.

The couple’s baby girl is named after Sunday Reed, a muse of early 20th-century artist Sidney Nolan.
The name was suggested by Nicole’s parents after her father read about Reed.

Nicole Kidman’s father Antony added, “I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John – she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century.”

The second part of the baby’s name, Rose, comes from Keith’s grandmother.

Nicole Kidman gave birth this morning to her daughter. The pregnancy was announced back in January. Kidman has two other adopted children with her former husband Tom Cruise, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.

The baby girl was born this morning in Nashville. They named their baby girl Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, and she weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Urban was at the hospital when the baby was born.

He performed a stadium concert in Nashville on Saturday night (July 5) with Kenny Chesney and dedicated a song to his very pregnant wife, Nicole Kidman.

The couple confirmed the baby’s birth in a statement released by their spokesperson saying that Keith Urban was by Nicole’s side the entire time, and that mom and baby are doing well.

New York Daily News previously reported Nicole has hired renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier to snap photos of her in the nude. A source informed the news media that Nicole is keen for the pictures to be taken when she is nearly ready to give birth, saying “Nicole wants to wait until she looks really pregnant.”

Has been hit with pregnancy report for several times and has repeatedly come to denial, the Aussie actress finally confirmed that she’s pregnant with her first child with husband Keith Urban whom she’s been married to since June 2006.

Kidman’s representative Wendy Day issued a statement to confirm the pregnancy, saying “Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban confirmed today that they are expecting a baby” adding that “The couple are thrilled.”

No words on how long the Oscar-winning movie beauty has been along with the not-yet born baby nor it is mentioned on when she’s due to give birth.

Kidman who turned 40 last June had previously said she would like to have a child with Urban, told women’s magazine Vanity Fair back in November, “I’m yearning to have one. I think I would be very sad if I wasn’t able to have a baby. Keith knows I want one, and he has been getting there slowly.”

Kidman starts work on Tuesday with Australian director Baz Luhrmann on his romantic adventure epic, Australia. She’ll be in the country for up to eight months, filming with co-star Hugh Jackman at locations in far-north Queensland, Darwin, Western Australia and Sydney. “It’s really good, really good, exciting about the film too,” Kidman told reporters when asked how it felt to be back home.
