The couple have been dating since January 2007, but the singer insists he’s not getting hitched.

‘I’m not engaged,’ he told The Oprah Winfrey Show. ‘If she’s engaged, we have a problem.’

Justin, 28, admits Jessica, 27, is a big fan of his clothing line William Rast.

‘I can’t get it off of her,’ he said. ‘Wait, that came out wrong.

‘She’s obviously a huge muse for me. And with the designers, too.’

The singer has already starred in several films and he’s keen to be taken seriously as an actor.

‘When I tell people I want to work in the theatre, I get the reaction, “Really?” It’s like, Yeah, why wouldn’t I?’ he says.

But Justin, 28, doesn’t plan to quit singing permanently.

‘I’ve a day job and this becomes a hobby,’ he tells the Sunday People.

The couple were first linked in January 2007 but didn’t go public with their romance until later that year. As their relationship continues, rumors of wedding plans have picked up a pace but speaking to Marie Claire recently, Jessica explained that she’s not obsessing about marriage and children.

The Elizabethtown actress said: “I feel like, if it’s an organic way for me and the right time in my life, then, yeah [I’ll do it].

“If it’s right, it’ll be right – but, at this moment, that seems completely foreign.

“I tell you, I have so many friends having babies and getting married, and they just want to put me where they are so we can go to nursery together and stuff. I’m like, ‘Noooooo!’ I’m resisting.”
