Even though the news of Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake’s break-up hit over a week ago, the two have remained mum on the subject. Today they issued a statement confirming what we already know.

“It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but, out of respect for the time we’ve spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media. We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another.”

Justin is rumored to be dating Scarlett Johansson and Cameron is well…she’s rumored to be dating…herself!

So this is a definite situation – Cameron is free after all.

Timberlake and Diaz Split?

Pop star Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz have ended their relationship, according to media reports.

The singer spent the Christmas season at home in Tennessee surrounded by his close-knit family, while Diaz went skiing with girlfriends in Vail, Colo.

Sources tell Star magazine that the couple, who have dated since 2003, decided to go their separate ways in early December.

The source says, “They had been planning to be together in Tennessee with his folks, but he came out alone and she stayed in L.A.”

On December 23, Timberlake was seen out with friends at Senses nightclub in Memphis, where he reportedly confirmed the spit to fellow revelers saying, “Me and Cameron? We’re done.”

And Timberlake isn’t wasting any time finding love again — pals claim the pop superstar met up with his ex, Veronica Finn, in his hometown of Millington.

Finn, a real estate agent now living in Tampa, Fla., was the girl picked to replace another of Timberlake’s ex-loves, Britney Spears, when she departed all-girl group Innosense for a solo career.

The stunning actresses – who co-starred in festive rom-com The Holiday – got up close and personal for the glamorous shoot.

The pair are wearing matching deep blue Derek Lam dresses for the glamourous cover shoot.

But although the dresses look identical, Cameron’s cost $4,500, while Kate’s was cheaper at $3,900.
