For the first time ever, Lisa Marie Presley has finally agreed to open up about her ex-husband Michael Jackson after more than 15 months of his death. In a recent interview, which was recorded at her home in England, with Oprah Winfrey, Lisa admitted that she regretted she didn’t try harder to save Michael.

“I know it’s naive to think that I could’ve, but I wanted to,” Lisa said on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” aired on Thursday, October 21. “Had I made a call, had I stopped being so shut off from him, had I just said ‘How are you?’ I really regret that I didn’t.” Lisa, however, believed Michael’s death was inevitable, saying “I think that was a train heading in a certain direction that no one could have stopped. I’ve had to really get my head around that in order to stop the pain.”

Lisa went on saying that it took his death to make her realize Michael had loved her. “I didn’t understand my relationship with him. It has taken until now to come to have all this love again and understanding for him. I don’t know why it had to take all that to have this happen. That upsets me a bit. I was very angry. I was so angry… I felt that we were so united, and then at some point he pushed me out.”

Lisa also admitted that she was shocked people ever thought their marriage was not a real deal. “To some degree, he was a master at manipulating the media,” Lisa explained. “I understand that nobody really knew who I was. They just assumed I was going along with something he would be doing… I understand it better now. The manipulation was a survival tactic for him.”

From her wedding ceremony in 1994, Lisa revealed that Michael always urged her to have a baby. “I did want to, but I just wanted to make sure. I was looking into the future and thinking, ‘I don’t ever want to get into a custody battle with him’,” she recalled. “We would have three-day arguments, taking a break to eat or sleep,” she continued, adding that Michael “really tried” to make their relationship work at times but she “didn’t appreciate it then.”

Two months after her divorce from Michael was finalized in 1996, she learned that Debbie Rowe was expecting his child, calling it a “retaliatory” act. “He would tell me, ‘Debbie said she’ll do it.’ That’s how he knew to handle it, ‘If you’re not going to do it, this person will’,” Lisa recalled.

Admitting that their last “coherently good” conversation was in 2005, Lisa shared, “I was very distant… He was asking me, he wanted to tell me that I was right about a lot of people around him. And he asked if I still loved him… I told him I was indifferent and he didn’t like that word. He cried.”

“And the final part of the conversation was him telling me that someone was going to try and kill him to get a hold of his catalog and estate. And I really didn’t know what to do with that,” she disclosed. As for Michael’s charm for her, Lisa said, “He was like a drug for me. I always wanted to be around him. I never felt like that feeling with another human being except for one – my father.”

On Michael’s death, on June 25, 2009, Lisa told Oprah that she was crying all day for no reason. Her tears stopped when she got a text message from John Travolta. Lisa recalled, “Actually, John Travolta was one of the first texts I got, asking, ‘Are you all right?’ ”

Earlier this year, fashion mogul Karl Lagerfeld said some scathing words about beloved German supermodel Heidi Klum. “I don’t know her. Claudia [Schiffer] doesn’t know her. She was never in Paris. We don’t know her.” And in regards to Heidi’s husband Seal, “I am no dermatologist, but I wouldn’t want his skin. Mine looks better than his. He is covered in craters.”

Until now Heidi had yet to publicly respond to the scandalous statements. But now she’s speaking out in an exclusive interview with Page Six Magazine.

“I don’t know why he said that. Maybe he wanted to be in the paper? Maybe he doesn’t understand what I do? It’s bizarre to me that he says he doesn’t know who I am because he’s dressed me in the past. I’ve worn Karl Lagerfeld. Not even Chanel—his line. Lagerfeld doesn’t just send random things everywhere, so it was a big thing for me [to wear his label] to the CFDA Awards a few years ago. I don’t know how he missed that, when he dressed me that time. But you know, it’s cool. People can say whatever they want to say. You can’t please everybody, and you can’t live your life wanting to please everybody either.”

Heidi also talks about the pressure on models to be super thin, “It’s hard for the girls. How old are they? Fifteen, 16? Some girls are naturally thin and can eat whatever they want. When I was 15, 16, there was not one ounce of fat on me, but some other girls have to work hard to stay like that. But the rules are not made by the models. To be part of this, they have to be the size the designer wants them to be. I’m not that skinny, and I never was, but I can pretty much eat whatever I want.”

She also gushes about her favorite Project Runway winner. “Christian (Siriano) is the total package. He’s very talented and a go-getter, which you have to be. He took the great opportunities afterwards — Ugly Betty, the Ellen show — but he was still designing. Contestants sometimes think, ‘I’m a celebrity now,’ but it’s like, ‘No, you’re not a celebrity. You’re a designer. Don’t forget what got you here to begin with.’”

On her marriage to David Beckham: David and I have a working relationship together, and we also have a private life together. Someone used the example recently of Brad and Angelina. They might be in a movie together, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to let someone film them at home. I don’t do ‘at homes’ with my family. I don’t march my kids down red carpets. It’s just not how we choose to do things.

On rumors that she wants an acting career are ‘rubbish’: “I know my boundaries – I know what I am good at and what I’m not good at.”

“My best feature is unfortunately a private matter, although I’m told it is spectacular. But you can’t really walk it down the red carpet. What can I say?” the New York Post quoted her, as telling the magazine. However, she is vehement that there’s nothing sluttish about her, for contrary to popular opinion, there are very few people who she’s slept with.

“I was called a slut when I split up with Michael [Sheen] and began seeing Len [Wiseman], but I’ve only ever had about three boyfriends. Only a handful of people have seen into the Pharaoh’s Tomb!” she said.

The Oscar-winner revealed she is still approached to take on those types of roles, despite her age (she’s 34), but she has no interest in them.

“This package does not describe the center of my creamy goodness,” she joked in Vogue’s September 2009 issue.

And while young, fresh-faced muse roles aren’t expected on the “Hancock” star’s resume again, Charlize will continue to do something many young actresses are asked to do, but turn down – nudity.

In the opening scene from her upcoming movie “The Burning Plane,” which opens in September, Charlize doesn’t have a speck of clothing on.

“That isn’t about me,” Charlize told the mag of disrobing on film. “I don’t look at the movie and go, ‘Jesus, my a** is really saggy.’”

And just as she’s comfortable showing her naked body on screen, Charlize is at ease with sharing herself in interviews.

“I feel like I always reveal too much,” she said. “There’s something sexy about the mystery. I don’t know how to play that card, though.”

She adds, “She has such great personal style. Every bloody morning she’d turn up at 5.30am in a little something she had just thrown on. I can’t do that.”

Jessica Alba is not ruling out having plastic surgery.

The ‘Fantastic Four’ star would prefer to stay away from the surgeon’s knife for as long as possible, but will consider cosmetic help if her looks start to fade.

Jessica told Elle magazine: “As an actress, you express emotion with your face and if you have plastic surgery, you lose that spark.

“I’m not going to say never for sure, though. I don’t know if, for example, having babies will stretch my stomach beyond what is acceptable.

“People usually look better without surgery – my grandmother aged very gracefully.”

The ‘Sin City’ actress also revealed she admires curvier women.

She said: “I love Kate Winslet, she has a beautiful body, as does Monica Bellucci. Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson – there are so many gorgeous girls out there.”
