Kate Beckinsale was hospitalized in Memphis, Tennessee over the weekend.

The movie beauty was filming her latest big screen project, drama thriller “Nothing But the Truth,” with co-stars Matt Dillon and David Schwimmer on Sunday evening November 11th when she complained of numbness in her left arm and leg.

Then took her assistant to the hospital, the movie beauty was reportedly not in any pain. Doctors told her “the problem was due to exhaustion and that she hadn’t been compliant with her regular medication,” a source in the know revealed.

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for Beckinsale said the reason the actress had gone to the hospital was to accompany her assistant who sprained her ankle.

On screen, Beckinsale is known for her roles in the films “Pearl Harbor” (2001), “Van Helsing” (2004), and “Underworld” (2003). She’s currently in talks to star in the drama flick “April 23″ while is highly reported not to return for the upcoming third installment of the “Underworld” franchise, “Underworld 3: The Rise of the Lycans.”
