Another ‘Charlie’s Angel’ has been hit by the spiltsville curse. Cameron Diaz has parted ways with Justin Timberlake, and now Drew Barrymore and her long-time beau Fabrizio Moretti, the Brazilian drummer for The Strokes, have broken up.

The 31-year-old actress has apparently ended her relationship with the 26-year-old rocker because “they needed time off”. According to Us Weekly, Moretti is now living back in his old apartment.

But insiders suggest the split, which they say is due to Moretti’s dislike for “the Hollywood stuff” and because “he doesn’t get her friends,” could be short-lived. “This is exactly what happened last time they took a break,” the source said.

Coincidently, The Sun recently reported that Barrymore would like to meet ‘Borat’ star Sacha Baron Cohen because she has a “thing about weird men”.

Perhaps, the “brilliant” Moretti was just not ‘weird enough’. However, as both Barrymore and Moretti’s representatives have declined to comment, Cohen’s partner Isla Fisher needn’t be too concerned about Barrymore moving in on her guy.

Even though the news of Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake’s break-up hit over a week ago, the two have remained mum on the subject. Today they issued a statement confirming what we already know.

“It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but, out of respect for the time we’ve spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media. We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another.”

Justin is rumored to be dating Scarlett Johansson and Cameron is well…she’s rumored to be dating…herself!

So this is a definite situation - Cameron is free after all.
